Woman and four kids unscathed during hail of gunfire

There was more violence in the city last night with two shootings on West Canal. The first incident happened at six-thirty p.m. at the corner of West Canal and Berkley Street.  Dana Flowers and her four children were inside their home when shots went off. She was about to step onto her porch when a gunman whom she did not recognize started to shoot from an alley on the other side of the canal. The bullets penetrated the verandah and several walls of her home. Luckily none of her children were hurt and the cops arrived fifteen minutes later to assess the damage. Flowers did not wish to appear on camera but she said that she and her children are innocent victims and hope that there wouldn’t be any more attacks at her house.
