Post mortem results into killing of Edmund Castillo

Last Friday forty-three year old Edmund Castillo was gunned down at his house on Curl Thompson Street in the Jane Usher Boulevard area of Belize City.  Castillo was socializing with friends when a gunman entered his yard at approximately eleven a.m. and fired several shots at him and eighteen year old Carlton Augustine. Though Augustine suffered being shot twice to the buttocks, he survived. The post mortem result for Castillo was revealed today. According to Doctor Mario Estradabran, the cause of death has been certified to be trauma shock due to multiple gunshot wounds to the head.  Prior to Friday’s shooting Castillo was shot in January of 2009 while he was moving into his new home. Barney Cunningham Junior was killed by a lone gunman while he helped the family move to Curl Thompson Street.
