Nicole Lovell says she has an alibi for burglary

On Monday she made the news when police charged her with Burglary for allegedly breaking into the home of her ex boyfriend. But today it is Nicole Lovell who is laying allegations at the feet of Alvaro Avilez. She visited News Five today to say that she has an alibi for the time of the alleged burglary at Avilez’ Ordonez Avenue home. He claims that when he reached his house last Sunday, he found gate locks and his front door damaged and that when he made checks inside his house, he realized that someone had stolen his Cannon digital camera. He said a fan was also damaged and some of his clothes in a suitcase were on fire. Avilez told police that his common-law wife had threatened to burn down his house because he was involved with another woman. But Lovell says nothing could be further away from the truth. She says Avilez is trying to spite her because she took him to family court for child maintenance. And now, while she will have her day in court to answer to the burglary charge, she has her version of the story.

“I was at home with my mom and sister at the time he claim I did this. He didn’t have no proof that I was on his property doing such things. I went out of my mother’s house for a few seconds and when I went back home my ma seh how he came and seh bout how he di bring police. I just want to mek everybody know that weh he di seh dah noh soh and I’m not jealous of him none at all. Dis noh have nothing fi do with jealousness.”
Lovell says when she stepped out she went with a friend to purchase a phone card at a nearby shop.

If you want the public to see you as an innocent person in this case, then you should have gone to the media with a very strong story, and witnesses supporting your alibi.
Instead you showed up unarmed saying that you left your mother’s sight for a second to go buy a phone card, and that he is telling untruth about you. This is the weakest story ever been told by burglar.
C’mon, where is the camera?
She should not be confessing nothing to the public…she should have proven her case in court and brought her witness then instead of having this situation going on and on in the media…..But gees woman if you would go through all that trouble should have been for something worthwhile….It probably hurts her to see him with someone else but it is TIME TO MOVE ON!!!!!

Hey girl i don’t think that u should have let the public all up into ur business, u don’t have to answer to them so if u knew u did not do it then prove it to the court don’t make a laughing stock out of ur self its bad enough hes trying to do it but u going on t.v to explain things just let it seems worst.
