Butane prices down just in time for the holidays
And while the price of eggs may go up, there is some reason to smile as every household around the country will be enjoy savings just in time for the Christmas Holidays. That’s right, the price of butane has dropped considerably by slightly over twenty percent. The Ministry of Economic Development in conjunction with the Cabinet Standing Subcommittee Ministers announced the price decreases of a hundred pound cylinder of liquid petroleum gas today. The new prices are as follows: Belize City drops from one hundred and twenty-four dollars to ninety-six, Belmopan and San Ignacio drop from a hundred and twenty-six dollars to ninety-eight dollars, Benque from one-twenty-seven to ninety-nine dollars, Orange Walk from one hundred and twenty-five dollars to ninety-seven dollars, Corozal from a hundred and twenty-four dollars to ninety six dollars, Dangriga from one-twenty-eight to a hundred dollars and Punta Gorda from one hundred and twenty-nine to a hundred and one dollars. So beginning tomorrow, the price for butane will be far cheaper.
