Darrell Smith badly beaten by “frienemies”

On May tenth, a forty-one year old self employed resident of Belize City claimed he was beaten unconscious and robbed by two of his friends. According to Darrell Smith, he was invited to a bar by Armando Avilez, and was joined by another friend, Ignacio Villanueva. The three later headed to Villanueva’s home located on Burns Fire Alley, just off Albert Street. Smith reported that a fourth person came to Villanueva’s house and that’s when he tried to leave but he was grabbed held back by Avilez. According to Smith, he was badly beaten and went unconscious. While hospitalized at K.H.M.H he realized that one hundred and ninety dollars were stolen from him. Avilez and Villanueva were both charged for Robbery and remanded in custody until June fifteenth. Both men are deportees from the US who have appeared before the courts on other charges.
With friends like Avilez and Villanueva, who needs an enema?
Something needs to be done about these deportees. I believe a lot of these crimes are masterminded by them, they go to the USA and get with bad elements there because they do not want to work and want fast money and when they are caught they come back here as Mr. big and bad and recruit these poor children that are unsupervised because the parents are too lazy or too busy to be proper parents. All these crimes should be placed squarely on the shoulders of individuals that should never be PARENTS and are too happy to allow bad elements to take their children.
I agree. Where minors are commiting unthinkable crimes, I believe their parents should be locked up too with them and help them serve the time.

yeah they shud do something bout ppl like these if you notice that avilez dude seems he is into gang and all i wonder wat all other crimes he has comitted. police should really take a good look at these guys and make sure they stay locked up for a long while.

If Avilez wasn’t charged with anything what the hell do you call it when he went to prison because of this case??????? You are so damn stupid!!! and i wish they would have a seperate island for all the deportees, keep them their and away from everyone else. MOST OF THEM ARE NO GOOD and just making or society even worst!!! Get off your lazy butts and get a damn job you fools.
