Two brothers found guilty of Robbery
The trial of two brothers concluded today and while they were not in court, Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer handed down her decision, finding them guilty of Robbery. Emmerson Neal Junior and his younger sibling, Alrick Carcamo were sentenced to seven years behind bars while Carcamo was ordered to spend an additional two years of a firearm offence. Their sentences will take effect as soon as they are apprehended. The charges against the brothers came about after twenty-six year old Freeman Smith, an employee of Benny’s Store, reported that he was at B.T.L. Park after ten p.m. on May second when he was approached by Neal and Carcamo. Neal asked him for a dollar and when he said he had none Carcamo produced a gun and demanded ten dollars. Carcamo then punched Smith in the face and took away his cell phone and a small amount of cash. The robbery was reported to police at a nearby booth, and they set after the assailants, who were on bicycles and caught Carcamo with a nine millimeter pistol with five live rounds and Smith’s cell phone. Neal was detained along with him while a third man who was said to be with them managed to escape. Neal disappeared just before trial was set to start on May thirteenth, while Carcamo just chose not to show up today. Nonetheless, both were sentenced in abscencia.

The idiots don’t always commit crimes alone, but some of those idiots have crime buddies too. It’s a real pickle, Confused. Their childhood perhaps will reveal some dark, repressed memories.
Give them to the crooked cops, save some tax money.
Well i guess they will be in hiding. I don’t even see why they give these fools bail anyways because from the time they found them with a firearm and use it they are not safe to be going back into the street.
How come these guys not on remand? They committed a crime with a firearm which is supposed to mean automatic remand with no bail. Then to make this situation worse, one brother skips before trial but they let the other brother remain free. Big surprise that he skips as well! The magistrate has some explaining to do on this one.
Let the punishment fit the crime. Seven years for holding a loaded gun on an innocent man? He’ll serve 2 to 3 and get out! For crying out loud, they didn’t even show up at court! Shame on you magistrate! At least let Carcamo’s sentence run consecutively!
