Alwyn Gonzalez and Tiffara Bradley charged for cocaine and ammunition

Alwyn Gonzalez

And in the Magistrates’ Court, after four days in police custody, thirty year old Alwyn Gonzalez and twenty-six year old Tiffara Bradley were finally arraigned in on drug and ammunition charges. Gonzalez was being sought to face charges along with his common-law-wife Tasha Herrera for over two kilos of cocaine. He was found at an apartment in the King’s Part area over the weekend with Tiffara Bradley, another stash of drugs and thirty-five live rounds of nine millimeter ammunition. Magistrate Sharon Frazer could not grant them bail because of the ammunition offence, but by three-thirty this afternoon Tiffara was successful in securing bail of fifteen thousand dollars at the Supreme Court level. Meanwhile, Gonzalez’ attorney, Richard ‘Dickie’ Bradley was unable to get his bail application heard today and he has been remanded to the Hattieville Prison until June twenty-eighth. Gonzalez, however, has not yet been arraigned for the two point four kilos of cocaine for which he was originally being sought. That’s because Magistrate Frazer decided to withhold the charge until he is served with a charge sheet. His girlfriend, Herrera, was arraigned last Friday and is now being held at the Community Rehabilitation Department for prenatal care after giving birth on May twelfth.

Another drug case involving a woman, I think that there are many more women in Belize that are into the drug business. They don’t have a lot of money so when they are ask to take the drugs from point A to point B in return for some cash they quickly take the deal, hoping that they would not get caught by the police.

I am sure this woman would have gotten way less money for the drugs then what she had to pay the court this week.

I am 100% anti drugs and crimes, 100% supporter of Thailand’s law against drug dealers, hang them both.

See people like this need to looked up and no bail given. when are they ever gone learn that hard work and sacrifice is what life is about. BUt no they want to live high off of other by bringing done our community. I wonder if some of our government officials are as corrupt that this same situation can easily happened in Belize. I pray for our country that God will one day let people realize that drugs only destroy.

  3. Allexclusive says:

sometimes when we are given the opportunity for our voices to be heard we don’t think before we talk. This girl comes from a family with money she needs not to do drugs for money. she knows about working too. so maddyvandijk you need to stop the bashing you never have anything positive to say i wanna see what would be your comment had you been caught up in a situation like this. and to newark check your grammar before writing nonsense about people. you cannot bring down a society that has already being destructed by the people in charge of making sure the country is in its best shape to alleviate the crime and poverty rate and address the issues of the economy. These are petty drug dealers or citizens charged with crimes like these there has to be someone or some people more powerful than they are to be in charge of things like these. moreover, its amazing and still pondering in my mind how in less than 24 hours the so called jaguar operation can make a bust on one person yeah rite bring something better than that to me. Thasha girl sorry to hear about your situation sometimes in life we just get caught up with the wrong persons in life. You are gonna survive this cause you are innocent. to the other girl hope the same for you. and alwyn you need to clean up your act bro. if you are given a second chance take it and do something positive with your life. we are human beings and we do make mistakes. its how you bounce back that makes the difference.

  4. BELIZEAN PRIDE says:

IT’S A SHAME FOR THE BELIZEAN WOMEN TO START THIS CRIMINAL ACTS WITH DRUGS AND DAMN THEY ARE BEING LISTED IN THE DRUG DEALS WITHIN OUR COUNTRY. SORRY FOR HER KIDS BUT IT’S A REALITY THEY HAVE TO FACE WITH A MOTHER ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE LAW.

  5. LOGIC says:

Alex, you are criticizing the previous writer’s grammar, but did you bother to check your own? Your blog is RIDDLED with grammatical mistakes. Secondly, what do you mean by “this girl comes from a family with money”? What is money to you, and is her family’s so called money her money? Is one to assume that her coming from a monied family excludes her from being a drug dealer? Are monied people not to be criticized? Look at the facts! You obviously don’t have much and haven’t seen those with real money to consider them monied. LET’S KEEP FIGHTING AGAINST ALL CRIMINALS!

  6. SO DISAPPOINTED says:

It is too bad she only comes from a family with so called “money” maybe she should have come from a family with morals and values. Alexclusive you sound as if you think only poor people sell drugs open your eyes rich and poor commit crime. If she was with this man I am quite sure she was aware of what he was involved in but yet she associated with him so birds of a feather. Yes we all make mistakes and so we must be prepared for the consequences when we decide to indulge in criminal activities or associate with criminals and contribute to the destruction of our citizens by making drugs available to them. Please people wrong is wrong lets not defend criminals just because they are friends or family that is the problem.

  7. Maddyvandijk says:

Alex, I suggest you retrieve your head, and stop being in such a state of denial because you think you know this woman. Yeah, she is innocent, let’s put her to sit on the naughty stool, pat her on her shoulder and send her home.

I am sick and tired of those darn criminals in Belize, women are now committing crimes, and they are now helping to drag Belize straight to hell.

If she is as good as you are trying hard to make us believe, then why the hell is she keeping friends with drug dealers in the first place? How much dumber do people get than this?

You are either against crime or you are condoning it. If she is innocent, let her walk, if not we should throw her in the sea to protect Belize, end of story.

  8. crime free belize says:

Well it’s so amazing to hear, that everyone that get’s arrested is alway’s innocent.Poor gyal, she should have considered the consequence’s before involving herself with that type of character.I find it hard to believe she did’nt know what the hell was going on,BS.Nevertheless, that fool should be given the maximum the law allow, just looking at his facial expression’s,show’s how arrogant this bally realy is,he does’nt care about those two women,or the people in belize who his selling that poison to.The weed is’nt so bad,but cocaine and heroin,it does’nt get any worst than that,no wonder or country is in the shape it’s in now.Well hope dem two gyal learn their lesson, and a little jail time wont hurt, maybe next time they will see the risk, sometimes outweigh the drug money, and their freedom.

  9. Frank says:

Belizeans should stop trying people in the media. This woman is innocent until it is proven beyond a reasonable doubt (in a court of law) that she is guilty. The constitution gives people the benefit of the doubt and so should all Belizeans.
