NBC’s Matt Lauer will feature Blue Hole on Today Show
And in another piece of good news, NBC’s Today Show co-host Matt Lauer is coming to Belize. The Today Show is a staple breakfast show of the United States of America which attracts millions of viewers. And recently, during the week of the presidential election, the program was the top rated broadcast morning show in North America with an average of nearly six million viewers. With this massive audience, the spotlight on Belize means that millions will view the Jewel as their next tourist destination. And next Week Matt Lauer will explore the barrier reef, Half Moon Caye and he will do a live broadcast for the Today Show from the famous Blue Hole.
The program is in its second season of its “Today Goes to the Ends of the Earth” series which was designed to raise awareness of environmental issues that are planetary. Last year the program had live broadcasts from Greenland, the equator in Ecuador, and Antarctica. Today’s hosts Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira, Al Roker and Ann Curry will travel once again all over the world.
