Woman reports shirtless man tried to rape her
But a woman fared better and escaped rape. The Trial Farm resident reported to police that she was home on Tuesday when someone knocked at her door. The woman says she opened the door thinking that it was her husband, but instead it was a man, known to her as Eric Sambas. A shirtless Sambas reportedly pushed her to the floor and attempted to rape her. When she screamed for help, the woman says Sambas punched her on the mouth and left.
