Renowned burglar fingered in King’s Park home burglary
A burglary at the home of an elderly person took place back in April but the accused burglar has just been arraigned. Eight hundred dollars worth of items were stolen from the King’s Park home of Alexander Franzua. Fingerprints were retrieved from the scene and after using the Affix Transfer and Manual Henry Fingerprints Classification unit, police say the alleged culprit is twenty-eight year old Carlos Juan Castro. Castro appeared before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers and he pleaded not guilty to burglary. He was offered a bail of four thousand dollars but he had not paid a previous fine and was packed off to the Hattieville prison. Castro has a track record with the courts. In 2000, he was found guilty of robbery and was sentenced to five years in prison. He was also convicted for possession of control drugs in 2004 and as recent as April 2008, Castro was imposed a non-custodial sentence and fined two thousand dollars when he was convicted of another burglary.

What a sickening rat this one is, his bad habit of stealing what does not belong to him will eventually end with a murder of an innocent person, or someone else might blast his head off with a shotgun when caught in the act. One less rat of the society.
We need to enact the “Three Strikes” law for repeat offenders — three felonies and then life imprisonment.
28 years old, no shame for this thief SOB, hope somebody really take a gun and yes MAddy shot his head OFF,
Wonder if he is belizean???
I agree with Student..there should be the “Three Stikes Law” just like we implemented the changes in the Guns and ammunitions Law. And the “Fingerprints Classification unit” should be available at all police stations and police be properly trained to use this so it can be admitted in court. So many more criminals would be found guilty.
“Castro has a track record with the courts. In 2000, he was found guilty of robbery and was sentenced to five years in prison. He was also convicted for possession of control drugs in 2004 and as recent as April 2008, Castro was imposed a non-custodial sentence and fined two thousand dollars when he was convicted of another burglary.”
So if he didn’t owe the Court, this Magistrate would have granted him bail and he would have been back on the street the very next minute “working”?
