On May twenty fifth she was booted from the political party that she supports and promised she would appeal. This came after her very bold comments about her party leader and Prime Minister Dean Barrow on the steps of the Magistrate’s Court following her arraignment on October first, 2009 on twenty-two counts of Uttering a False document and Failure to comply with City Council Regulations. The United Democratic Party’s three-member Ethics and Integrity Committee expelled Belize City Mayor, Zenaida Moya Flowers as a member of the National Executive. Mayor Moya Flowers challenged it and asked the court to grant her an injunction to prevent the expulsion. In December Justice Minnet Hafiz ruled that the United Democratic Party could no longer exclude Moya Flowers from attending its National Party Council meetings. But the party went one step further and last month expelled her as a member of the party altogether. Today News Five spoke with the mayor and asked her if she has appealed that decision. And while she did not volunteer much information, she did entertain our questions.

“I am dealing with my advisors and I do have some key advisors and they are my political advisors.”
Meanwhile, the Mayor is due back in court on July.

xcellency could not be living here in Belize City. That is the most disgraceful Mayor any town or city has ever had in their history. I hold no sympathy because she is a woman. Remeber we all have equal rights. If the UDP dont want her then they no why! Maybe we are not being told the entire truth because you cannot depend on the Audit Report cause it never will come and when it comes it will say there is no wrong doing just like the KHMH Medical Case.
My personal advice to Mayor Moya: move on and stop wasting the peoples time fighting your Ex-Party members.

EF is completely right … Moya is one of the worse and joins peoplke like Ravey Gonzales (former Mayor of Owk) in the Hall of shame! Even a blind person can see how crooked she is. The truth of the matter is that Barrow and the other are afraid she’ll steal the little little there is for them to get their hands on … bunch of thieves …. just like the PUP!

Dean Barrow should have left Zenaida where he found her when Musa fired her for poor performance from his government. She has been nothing but a nightmare for the party and the people of Belize City since they selected her to run for Mayor.The UDP gave birth to this Beast and now they can’t get rid of her.She’s like a cancer.By no means confuse her with Strong women.She was given a chance to prove and redeem herself but all she has done is disgrace herself.

/since almost 100% of the comments told us what a disgusting and embarassment lady z is, I will not waste my time to concur. However, I want to remind you of the person who made all this possible, and he did it with dignity and honor. Mark King, the whole Belize hated on him when he took a step forward, his party punished him and stoped him from running in the convention, now they are calling him a hero and celebrity. Lady z now has 26 charges awaiting her and eviction from her party, plus all the assets she had, lets see the Mansion house out of the city, the 4runner and hummer, the sand truck company, acres of land, record shack for dalla, over $270,000.00 to her brother and much more, and she wants more hell no. Mark King will get my vote for mayor so he can go fix things and make z pay for fooling belizeans. Mark King is my hero and he should be yours, he stood up for u belizeans u owe him this one. We need more politicians like u Mr. King. Thank you
