3 perish in motorcycle accident in the west

The death toll increased this afternoon when a motorcycle collision on the main Spanish Lookout road left three persons fatally injured. Around twelve-thirty, twenty-one year old Carlos Lopez, a mechanic of Duck Run One was riding his cycle towards the Iguana Creek Bridge. Going in the same direction on another cycle, were driver Jacob Klassen and his fiancée, Anna Klassen, both residing in Spanish Lookout. Preliminary investigations by police revealed that Jacob made a left turn at the same time that Lopez was overtaking, causing the motorcycles to collide. Lopez and Anna died at the scene while Jacob succumbed on the way to the Western Regional Hospital. It is believed that the men and woman were not wearing helmets. Sources tell News Five that Anna and Jacob were to be married this weekend.
