Police investigate death of Benque resident

In a report just in, police are investigating the death of a twenty year old resident of Benque Viejo Del Carmen. This morning, acting on reports received, Benque police found the body of the young man hanging from a golden plum tree. The young man has been identified as Kelvin Rosado, a resident of the Hills of Promise Area in Benque Viejo Del Carmen. New Five spoke to Officer in Charge, Superintendent Dezerie Phillips.

“About eight-fifteen a.m. this morning, Tuesday October twenty-eight 2008, acting upon information received, Benque Viejo police visited a home in the Hills of Promise area where the lifeless body of a male person was seen hanging from a tree behind the yard of the residence. The body has so far been identified as that of Kelvin Rosado, a twenty year old student of the Hills of Promise Area. What we can say is that he was seen alive up until about midnight last night. The investigation is pretty young so that’s something that we wouldn’t readily conclude to say whether it is homicide or suicide. We are investigating the matter from all angles and at this time we are not in any position to say what was the cause of death.”

Phillips says the investigation continues.
