U.S. based serial killer was married to Belizean woman

Charles Manson, Ted Bundy and the fictional Hannibal Lecter are probably the three most well known serial killers. Well another serial killer’s identity has been found out recently and it seems he may have ties to Belize. The killer who was called the Grim Sleeper, murdered ten of his victims between 1985 to 2007. Fifty seven year old Lonnie Franklin was married to a Belizean Sylvia Castillo, who migrated decades ago to the United States. Franklin, who has been separated from Sylvia, was caught through DNA testing. Castillo’s relatives in Belize did not want to comment. But here’s the story of how the Grim Sleeper was caught.

“He was dubbed the Grim Sleeper because this man they say took a fourteen year hiatus between murders. Twenty-five years later, LAPD says they finally captured the Grim Sleeper, a serial killer in Los Angeles responsible for the brutal murders of eleven young African American women and one man between 1985 and 2007. He’s been identified as fifty-seven year old Lonnie Franklin, said to be a former city trash collector and mechanic at LAPD’s 77th Street Station.

“The Grim Sleeper killed my friend Jenecia Peters in 2007. I always felt that he was close really. I’ve always said that oh he gotta be close, he has to be close.”
LAPD District Attorney says a slice of pizza led them to Franklin. You see the fifty-seven year old’s son was busted by cops. His DNA showed a strong familial match to the victim’s but not perfect so they turned to Lonnie. He was put under surveillance. Investigators used a discarded pizza to check his DNA which resulted in an exact match.

“They caught him. He caught who? And I said they caught this Grim Sleeper. And we just had to come down here to see the area.”
Her daughter, Barbara Ware, was the Grim Sleeper’s fourth victim, murder in January of 1987. Today she found some relief twenty-three years later.

“He’s a sick person, has to be a sick person and you know I—whatever happens to him, I just hope he never gets out. Whether they give him the death penalty, just don’t ever let him out so that he can hurt anybody else.”
One media report in the U.S. says that officers wanted to search a vehicle that once belonged to Franklin, but that vehicle is believed to be in Belize.
could this be the guy responsible for those little girls murders? was he in belize?
We simply don’t need to link this monster with Belize in anyway. We have our own homegrown monsters, and don’t need to add a foreigner to this list. The only thing I would like to know is if the individual visited Belize in the past? If so, have we got any unsolved cases of murders, which took place during the time(s), he visited Belize and perhaps our authorities would like to speak to this man.
Have the authorities checked to see if Lonnie Franklin was ever in Belize around the time young women were being murdered there???????????
is it possible that Franklin was in Belize during the time that those innocent little girls went missing? Isn’t there some similarity to this case? Some authority should check up on this. Is it possible that Sylvia knew what was going on? Who is Silvia and where is she right now? She should publicly make an announcement if she is not involved.

sometimes people married to some one an don’t know what they passed was. I don’t think sylvia knew anything about him, they were separated. now a days when you meet someone we need to do a background check on them. Thank god they found that monster an that his wife is not with him.
Finally the “grim sleeper” was arrested and will finally taste justice. The notorious killer was arrested more than twenty times and somehow slipped through the system.
He apparently stopped the killings 1988 and 2001 and between 2003 and 2007, perhaps the P D can help bring closure in the dissapperance of those mysteriously mudered in Belize during the period of 1988 and 2001, 2003 and 2007.
the spouse or wife are not always a partner in these killings, or even condoning these killings, the partner never knows of the serial killer killings. (The wife is not a suspect in these killings).
Thanks to DNA database the animal will die for being most evil on my list.
Now its maniacs like this 1 that should be killed asap.

I read the news coming out of Belize because I care, Belize is still and will always be my home regardless of where i live today………………………………… I make my own fate.
I do not live in belize and do not want to, but you live there so i was hoping that you would help out our country any way that you can, make us proud Earl.

i think that is the guy responsible for those murders in belize,the first time i heard about the murders,my gut feeling was telling me it was someone that knows what they were doing,and have done it before. i knew it was not a belizean,i just knew,and this guy have link to belize.the car that the lapd was looking for is in belize,thats the guy,the police or some one has to look into this.
