Darren Banks arraigned for attempted murder
He has been in police custody since Friday and today Darren Banks was officially arraigned for two counts of Attempted Murder in Belize City. The thirty year old appeared in Magistrates’ Court along with thirty-three year old Steven Zelaya with whom he is jointly charged. Both men were remanded into custody until November twenty-seventh. Banks is believed to have been the driver of a green car carrying another person who opened fire on three men on Central American Boulevard last Thursday night. The trio comprising Alex Myers, Richard Russell and Lucius Myers managed to escape the shooting unharmed.
