Two schools receive musical instruments
Zion Parks Methodist School and Tubal Trade and Vocational Institute are the latest educational institutions to receive musical instruments. The donation of two keyboards and ten guitars came courtesy of the National Institute of Culture and History through the Expressive Arts in Schools program. The instruments were handed over this morning at the Bliss by NICH President Diane Haylock. Zion Parks Methodist, located in Santana Village, received two keyboards and three junior and three medium guitars. Tubal, based in Ladyville, was given four medium guitars. Thirty of Tubal’s one hundred and fifty students are enrolled in the music program, while Zion is a regular Festival of Arts gold winner.
