M.O.E. releases school roster for Thursday and Friday

The rains and the floods over the past week have been disrupting daily routines around the country, and schools have not been spared. The Ministry of Education has issued an advisory in respect of schedules for the remainder of the week. In the Corozal District there will be no classes. Classes will resume in the Orange Walk District, except for the villages of San Roman, Fireburn, San Antonio, San Carlos, Indian Church and Douglas. In the Belize District, primary schools in the Ladyville area and along the Western Highway will be open and primary and secondary schools in Belize City are expected to resume classes. However, the Ladyville Technical High School, and schools along the Belize River Valley and the Maskall Road will be closed.
