Gina Conorquie, repetitive con artist charged again

Gina Conorquie

She has a history of breaching the law, but that hasn’t deterred twenty eight year old Gina Conorquie. She is now facing additional charges for Obtaining Property by Deception.  In the most recent case, the Ready Call employee is accused of receiving monies in exchange for a CARICOM passport and US visa.  Windell Lemott Sr. told police that Conorquie collected a total of eight hundred and sixty seven dollars from him on July tenth, thirteenth and fourteenth.  Lemott said when Conorquie failed to produce the passport, he reported the matter.  Senior Magistrate, Sharon Frazer, offered Conorquie bail of two thousand dollars after she pleaded not guilty to the charges.  Conorquie was ordered to appear in court again on August twenty first. In 2009, Conorquie was found guilty of theft and in that same year she also pleaded guilty to two counts of Obtaining Property by Deception and was imposed two non custodial sentences and fined.

Sad, how it seem like more and more belizean women are taking the plunge right along side the no-good men draggin Belize into the dirt.

Ruining their names and lives just for a few bucks, eight hundren dollars, what can you do with this little bit of money.

    was it worth it Gina?

LEMOTT SHOULD ALSO BE CHARGED FOR TRYING TO BUY A PASSPORT AND VISA. BOTH OF THEM WERE BEING DECEPTIVE.

  3. Lany says:

But wait the person that was buying the fake passport should be held accountable also. No plea bargain. Lock the two of them up… they both committed a crime. Only In Belize.

I have just made up my mind to return to Belize and introduce a course in Critical Thinking and Leadership in the University, and hopefully teach law enforcement and government employees. The problem is that Belizeans have stop thinking for themselves. The politician thinks for them, it is time our children learn how to critically think through things. Right now it looks like the thought is a “hasty five cent is better than a slow one” and no one stop to count how much they stand to loose in the long run.
Belize needs change, the kind of change that comes through education.
