Robbery at Brodies Agrochemical and swift detention of suspects

Late this afternoon, robbers jacked the Brodies Agrochemical division on the Northern Highway which is located near the first roundabout. Details are still unraveling but at least three men pulled into the compound in a car that has been described from gold to beige in color.  The men, who did not wear any masks, but were armed, robbed the agrochemical warehouse. One of the robbers punched and wounded one of the employees on the mouth before taking an undisclosed sum of cash.  The employees closed up the building shortly after and reported the matter to the police.

As soon as the officers left the hectic scene, they headed over to Mahogany Street where a large crowd had gathered to watch a police search being conducted on two vehicles. Apparently the cops got a lead in the Brodies robbery and detained several suspects. According to eyewitnesses, the cops apprehended several men and a taxi van. It is alleged that a gun was stashed somewhere inside the van by one of its occupants. The gold color Geo Prism with green license plate D-6046 was also being searched. The cab driver shouted that he only came to visit a friend after he heard the cops had detained him. He wanted to find out what had happened and he was also being handcuffed.  We can’t show you their faces as the detained men will be included in an identification parade at the police station on Saturday morning.

Please don’t let the negativity that is overshadowing your department overcome your excellent performances. You guys took an oath to serve and protect, then let’s get back to work. The evil ones within the department know themselves, please set your focus on them also to clean up the mess. Take care and God Bless.
