“Hey, we’re here at Simmons Grill, 111 Freetown Road to check out one of the best Bar B Ques in Belize City. I’m here with Mr. Simmons, the owner of Simmons Bar B Que grill and a local master. So tell me what you’re preparing today.”

Mr. Simmons, Owner, Simmons Bar B Que Grill
“Today we have the regular bar b que chicken, we have the polish sausage, chicken kabobs. We have our famous quarter pound beef burgers along with pork ribs and this is served along with rice and beans or you can get it the way the regular bar b que is served; coleslaw, baked beans. I’m in the business for about fifteen years so we have a lot to offer to the public when it comes to bar b que.”

Safiyyah Mohammed
“You have any secrets for keeping the chicken so juicy?”

Mr. Simmons
“The secret’s gonna stay with me. I cannot give you the secret but that secret will always stay with us but it’s one of the secrets only the chefs could hold.”

Safiyyah Mohamed
“Don’t wanna share any of your special skills that you use?”

Mr. Simmons
“The skills here to do a proper breading is to see that the meat is properly done; it’s well done. We here, it’s the taste that makes the difference here with us.’
