British Crown Counsel’s parting words

elizabeth Purcell

Last Friday we reported on the case of Elizabeth Purcell, the British Crown Counsel who departed Belize hastily just after she had signed on as prosecutor for the police department and was to move on to the fast track court that is being established by the Attorney General’s Ministry. Purcell has been in touch with News Five to say that she came to work in Belize from Honduras and that she is saddened by the fact that she was not able to remain to work with the police department and is now returning to practice in the UK. In the matter of her bankruptcy, she says she was not disbarred from practice in the UK and furthermore she has been discharged from it. Purcell concludes by saying that she indeed did disclose the matter of her insolvency before she took up assignment in Belize.

That women has stand the test of time. She has been treated and treaten harshly by people in High place. So you all need to know that she has fight hard for the rights of many belizean children. belive me i know what i am talking about. And besides who wants to be place in the position that she got after all the corruption in the Police dept. Respect Miss Elizabeth a got yo back.

  6. Manford says:

One of the main reason Belize is in such dire straight has a lot to do with arrogance. We are a very boastful and cocky bunch. My response has to do with comments from three of the four respondents. Humility is not in our DNA , starting with our head of state, and we are paying the price dearly. We need a serious attitude check up.
