San Pedro man pleaded guilty to burglary, on bail

Story PictureAn intruder was caught in the act after he broke into the home of a San Pedro resident. On October thirteenth, twenty-four year old Alden Dominguez, a man who lives near the airstrip in San Pedro, broke the louvers on the window of Marvin Mendoza’s home to gain access inside the house. Thirty-six year old Mendoza, an assistant chef, was out buying food and when he returned, he found Dominguez inside his home. Dominguez was arrested, charged and though he pleaded guilty to Burglary, Magistrate Montejo did not accept that plea since Dominguez works for Mendoza and claimed Mendoza would not pay his wages. The magistrate did, however, offer him bail of one thousand dollars and a surety of the same amount. His court date is set for November twenty-fifth.
