Roadside body identified as Guatemalan National
The body of a murdered man found near Cotton Tree on August second, was known only by his many tattoos. On Thursday thirty-one year old Guatemalan National, Lesly Larios Catalan, visited the K.H.M.H. morgue and identified the body as that of her brother, Guillermo Larios Catalan Junior. Guillermo was a twenty-six year old resident from Poptun, Peten Guatemala. Three slugs were removed from the body and a post mortem showed that he died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and neck. It is not known why Guillermo was in the area nor who pulled the trigger on him.
Meanwhile, the body of another man that was found in Scotland Halfmoon Village on Wednesday has still not been identified. So far police have only found out from residents of the village, that the person did not live in the area. The body was found in a shallow grave in an overgrown area of the village. It was discovered by the village chairperson, Olivia Rhaburn, who was walking with her sons to visit a friend. We were told by Ladyville police today that a post mortem was conducted on site, but the results are not being released.
