Greilin Carcamo needs your help
There are several notable cases of Belizeans whose medical conditions are playing out on national television. It’s a sign of the times as well as the desperation that accompanies regular citizens who face the threat of death. Earlier in this newscast we told about the story of Damauri Tesecum, a burn victim who needs financial assistance. There are also Tarell Sutherland and Daniel Estell whose families have been struggling to meet medical costs. Sadly, twenty two year old Greilin Carcamo finds herself in a similar situation. She needs a kidney transplant that costs about thirty-six thousand dollars. But before she even raises that sum, Carcamo needs four thousand dollars to replace a tube that is used in her dialysis treatment. The twenty-two year old, mother of four, struggled to our office this morning with the aid of a relative to appeal for your support.

Why isn’t someone helping these people who are need of financial/medical help by providing orginizational oversight? Many people are reluctant to send money to a private bank account. Perhaps there is some non-profit org. in Belize who could collect the money on their behalf.
