Bowen and Bowen employee douses acid over co-worker for office gossip

Earlier we told you that a brave shop owner used acid on robbers who targeted her business. Well, a case of ‘he said, she said’ between co-workers at the Bowen and Bowen Compound in Ladyville ended much in the same way when one employee was doused with acid. Today, Kimberly Ferguson was charged with Harm for landing Nigel Coleman in the hospital on Wednesday. Ferguson is said to have confronted Coleman about something he said to another co-worker about her. Coleman denied it and took Ferguson to the worker she accused him of gossiping to. And that’s when things got ugly. According to Coleman, the man simply laughed at Ferguson and he returned to his office. About two minutes later, Ferguson returned to his office and allegedly threw a bottle of acid at him, which spilled on his face, head and chest. He was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Ferguson was unrepresented in court and pleaded not guilty to the charge. Bail was offered in the sum of seven hundred she met before noon today.

I guess acid is the new form of defence, so far this week we have read about two incident and supposedly Laverne Longsworth also. Acid is a dangerous compound and it should not be so easily available.
Is acid the new form of weapon this month? This is the third acid incident being reported on the news in the last couple weeks, acid is a harmful compound and should not be so readily available, there should be a crackdown of who is buying this product just like if you are buying ammunitions.

First of all you sound like a police yourself because I always read your comments. Not because we are women we should not stand up for our rights in Belize, not because WE ARE WOMEN we are inferior to men…..not because we are WOMEN, men have advantageover us therfore, we WOMEN should take bs from men(regardless if they are our men or involved in the police). We have to fight because of “Male Chauvinism” (even if its talking about women to make them feel less) because we have rights to do so. But its was ok for the woman to use acid to fend off robbers. I’m a woman and I’ll fight for my rights, therfore, even a policeman wants to come and arrest me or disrespect me(which police are good at that) I’ll speak or fight for MY RIGHTS AS A WOMAN! SO WOMEN FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS! MEN SHOULD LEARN TO KEEP THEIR MOUTH CLOSE, poor excuse(because they are born so). What about the norms?
