Convicted rapist to spend two decades in jail

Leroy Gomez turns twenty-four on Saturday, but his birthday will be spent at the Central Prison in Hattieville. He was convicted of Rape, Robbery and Aggravated Assault on Monday and this morning, on the eve of his birthday, Gomez was sentenced to eleven years for robbery, nine for rape and two for aggravated assault. Gomez, however, will serve only twenty years because the aggravated assault sentenced is to run concurrently with rest of the prison term. During his mitigation plea, his brother acknowledged that Gomez was known for stealing, but said he was no rapist and asked the court for leniency. On the night of August twenty-third 2008, Gomez forced two women into an abandoned house at knifepoint. Once inside, he raped the twenty-two year old while her eighteen year old friend watched. The younger woman ran to get help after Gomez finished and left them inside the house. Some friends caught up with Gomez but he attacked one of them with the knife and escaped. It was not until a month later that Gomez was captured by police and identified by his rape victim. Gomez had denied the allegations and said that he would never do such a thing because he has sisters and a mother that he would not want anyone to harm them.

20 years is not enough time, at 44, the age he will be when he is released, he will still be young enough to rape. I suggest castration & daily shock treatment every day while he is in jail.

thank god 1 gone off the street of Belize (Rapist)..like wat Supa G sang in his song “u friggin rapist..u friggin childmolster.. they shudda tek yo A… dah jail mek yo kno how ey feel”..hahaha…infact u wah just blend in anyways cause usually rapist turn ……… when they go dah jail…hmmm.nice life young man.
