Audubon’s summer camps wind up
The Belize Audubon Society had quite a few activities for the young and the young at heart over the past few months. But summer is at an end and this weekend marks the last of its summer programs. Publicity Coordinator for the Audubon, Dirk Francisco, told us more about this weekend’s adventure that the Audubon is sponsoring.
Dirk Francisco, Publicity Coordinator, BAS
“It’s the end of the Belize Audubon Summer Camp Program. Tomorrow is the last summer camp activity that we’re having and it’s a Jungle adventure to crystal cave in Saint Herman’s Blue Hole National Park for couples. So tomorrow Belize Audubon Society along with a group of Belizean couples are going to Crystal Cave to get the adventure of a lifetime. The purpose of this summer camp is actually to showcase Belize, show the beauty of Belize and some of the exciting tours that Belizeans can go on. So it’s just an opportunity to see a different side of Belize.”
