Grenade scare at Ready Call Center

At the same time that government was unveiling its national security plans at the Princess Hotel, not far away the staff at the Ready Call Centre was being evacuated after a grenade scare. Just after eleven this morning the staff filed out of the building after members of the Dragon Unit showed up at the office building and asked for the cooperation from the company. The company was told by police that they received an anonymous call that someone walked into the building with a briefcase without anyone noticing and that it contained grenades. The police therefore wanted to search the building. Employees told News Five off camera, they had no idea why they were evacuated.

Voice of employee
“I haven’t heard anything and I don’t want to speculate because o don’t know what is happening and I guess that everybody is just as curious as I am. Our supervisor came up and she said Aux Five and go on the second floor. When we reach the second floor, the manager is there and he said politely go downstairs. They did not explain what is happening, or why are we out or why we are aux fiving.”

Kendra Griffith
“What is aux five?”

Voice Employee
“It is for technical difficulties with the system.”

The employees remained out of office for over an hour, but at the end of the search, the cops did not find anything in the building. We were unable to verify the information with the cops. Ready Call says it has strict security measures and does not allow anyone inside the building without being checked.
