Ride-by shooter injures driver of Ford Explorer

There was another shooting in the old capital on Thursday night. Luckily, no one died. The victim, however, was shot two times while driving his Sport Utility Vehicle along the city streets.  There are no known motives for the senseless shooting and Police Press Officer Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood explained how the incident unfolded.
Sergeant Fitzroy Yearwood, Police Press Officer

“Police Visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital Accident and Emergency section where they saw Darren Morgan suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the shoulder. He reported to police that he was on Amara avenue, travelling in his 1995 ford Explorer. And upon reaching the junction with Amara and Kut Avenues, somewhere behind the Saint John’s Primary School area, a lone gunman rode up next to and fired several shots at him causing his injuries. He is saying that he doesn’t know his assailant.”

“So several shots through the windshield?”

Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood

“Well, apparently this person rode right next to him on the driver’s side of his vehicle.”

Jose Sanchez

“No enemies, he doesn’t know why?”

Sgt. Fitzroy Yearwood

“That’s what he’s claiming.”
