P.U.P. turns fifty-eight
The country turned twenty-seven and the oldest political party that has claim to its own record of accomplishments in the political landscape of Belize turns fifty-eight. It has been in government longer than any other political party and next week on the twenty-ninth, the now opposition party will celebrate its birthday. And to mark its anniversary under a new Leader, the P.U.P. will be holding a number of activities including radio shows on the history of the party, a youth rally, a photo exhibition, an awards ceremony and a thanksgiving service.
