Man seeking medical attention drops dead
The lifeless body of Denval Davis was discovered sometime around five-thirty this evening in front of Dr. Osbert Usher’s Dental Clinic on Magazine Road. The body was lying face up on the steps of the building. Unconfirmed reports are that Davis had visited the Matron Roberts Polyclinic to seek medical assistance and soon after, went over to the dental clinic. While the cause of death remains undetermined, it is believed that he may have died of natural causes.
Did he get any help at the Health Center or did they ask him to be quiet & not disturb the other patients? How do we determine natural causes without an autopsy when we know the man was obviously not well before he died? It is an absolute shame that in Orange Walk we had an immobile patient being eaten by ants, another one at KHMH jump to his death & now this man dying on someone’s steps because of possible indifference.
Wow, the dude gets a paragraph on the media. Damn, just another piece of dead meat, not enough gore for ratings.

How could the doctors and staff at the Matron Roberts Clinic not figure out that this patient was in such a bad condition that death was so near. people don’t just die, their vital signs, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, all show signs for a while before the final event. This needs investigation. Lets wait and see what Estradaban “forensic pathologist” will say!!!!!!!!

I am really ashame to say that I am a Belizean. We all know what took placed to cause this guy untimely death that could of been avoided possibly with the right care. However, we who are guilty will pay at the great awakening when Jesus sad to say tell us he knows us not regardless that we call on his name. That guy is one of our brother in Christ. It is really sad to see my nation that I know is blessed by our Lord is revolving into an uncivilized society. When did we got to this point? Hope we can bare the wrath of God when He decides to send it upon us.

Death just does not happened as DactaFly said there are signs and symptoms we all noticed before this eventually occurs, unless it was a heartache or a stroke. Even then we sometimes see classic signs leading to this event. These Drs should be working under the Hippocratic Oath, which is an oath swearing to practice medicine ethically. Therefore irrespective of this poor man’s color, social class, economic status, or sexual orientation, he should have been given immediate and appropriate care. We do not know if he was seen by anyone at Matron Roberts and surely a Matron Roberts Spokeperson should offer the general public this information. If he was seen, why was he discharged?
I also agree with you when you discussed the tiny paragraph dedicated to this man. We know nothing more than his name, quite frankly even in death he wasn’t given the respect fitting of a human being, because they should have kept his name confidential until they knew more. It clearly showed the sheer desperation this man experienced just before his death as he attempted to seek medical care from the medical centre and dental clinic.

Maybe this man was sick for a long time and did not go to the hospital until it was too late, no one said that he visited a doctor and was turned away.
Yeah, blame somebody else for his problem.
