House gutted to the ground; ex suspected to have put it on fire…
While most persons were looking for bargains at the trade expo over the weekend, a woman saw her house go up in flames. After three-thirty on Sunday, a house at three and a half miles on the Northern Highway caught on fire. And even though the Fire Department responded promptly, the ply-cem house was completely gutted. According to reports, it was occupied by thirty year old Karina Garbutt and her child. Garbutt, who is unemployed, left the home in the care of her ex-common law husband, thirty year old Kareem Savery, who lives in Gracie Rock Village. At the time of the fire, Garbutt was visiting her mother. When she returned she saw her ex leaving the area and her house was engulfed in flames. The following amateur footage of the flames was provided by an avid Channel Five viewer.

We gone back dah Belama dah fi she mother house and then when we come back here, we forget the bike and we just come back to get it and we see the whole house blaze up. We see him di walk pan the street. She noh have no electricity bill or no water. That house dah noh fi she dah fi ih cousin.”
Though Garbutt lived in the home, it was the property of Shawn Longsworth.
Maybe it was spontaneous combustion because it is safe to believe that Mr Savery was not cooking his ex a meal at that time of day & accidentally left the stove on.
Boys, if you cannot step up like men & get yourselves together, don’t get violent & destructive when women move on. If you cannot deal with rejection, just go home to your mommies & let her soothe your bruised ego. What man with an ounce of self esteem wants to hang onto a woman who does not want him to the point of rendering her & her child homeless. Gracie Rock is a decent place, run this fool out of the village before he starts burning your houses down because you hurt his feelings.
People in Belize need to practice self control. Every one of these fools behave like animals. I do not know what to say any more. All i need to say the gov need to take control of these animals by putting them in prison. But then again police do not how to treat a crime scene. It look like they go to crime scene and look at the body and wonder whats next . they do not gather evidence, witness to make their case.
shame that this man burn down this house and left a single mother and her child homeless because his feelings get hurt. No wonder she left him, clearly he is crazy.
