Burrel Boom woman offers reward for return of stolen goods
And in related news, home invasions may be a growing trend in Belize but it does not mean that thieves aren’t still making use of opportunities to rob empty houses. As was the case, yesterday, September third, twenty two year old Fiona Usher left her home in Burrel Boom through the Camp Oakley road on her way to work as she normally does at six-thirty in the morning. Her boyfriend and brother also left for work and school. When they returned home twelve hours later, they noticed that the bathroom window light was on; and even more disturbing, that the window had been removed. After inspecting the house, they found that their brand new HP laptop valued at approximately three thousand dollars, a three hundred dollar Digital camera, a flash drive, an IPod and other household items including her one year old baby’s savings bank were missing. Usher says she is willing to offer a reward for the returned items. If you have any information regarding the items you can reach her at 621-9034.
