Sanitation worker gets three years for aggravated assault of minor

A sanitation worker has been sentenced to three years for the Aggravated Assault of a twelve year old girl. When the child appeared in court today she testified that in September 2007, she was alone with Francis Gonzalez at her uncle’s house, when Gonzalez kissed her on the side of her face, ran his hands between her breasts, and then kissed her on the mouth. According to the child, Gonzalez told her that is what boyfriends and girlfriends do. The child also admitted that she had received money from Gonzalez on several occasions and he had also given her a phone. In court, Gonzalez remained quiet and did not give any testimony in the trial, which has been underway since August twentieth and concluded today with Gonzalez’s conviction.
