Man beats murder rap for lack of evidence
Twenty-four year old murder suspect, Lloyd Faber, beat the rap when he appeared in the Magistrates’ Court today. Faber was on remand for Murder since September of last year, but Magistrate Dorothy Flowers withdrew the charge at the recommendation of the D.P.P. due to lack of evidence. Faber was charged with the murder of Jerry Jones, who was shot exactly one year ago at Mike’s Club in Belize City. Jones managed to survive the first shot from his assailant, but when he ran outside to the veranda, he fell over the railing. That was where police found him when they arrived on the scene.
