There was other violence over the weekend. Even before the Stuart and Gillette Murders, a shooting occurred at six-thirty p.m. on Friday. The victim was hit by a volley of fire by a gunman who rode towards him on bicycle. Luckily for him, the bullet caught his legs, arms and side. Leroy Card told News’ Five Jose Sanchez that he expects to fully recover and is not contemplating retaliation.

Today, blood stains still lie on the ground on St. Jude Street where twenty-three year old Leroy Card was shot five times on Friday evening.  It happened about a hundred feet from his home and while his family heard the shots, they had no idea he was the victim.

I hope this Guy tells the police who it was. He could’ve been a statistic right now n they might try to finish the job. More street violence, more craziness in the streets of Belize.

  3. Obzervor says:

When the legislators stop dragging their feet and implement real penalties for such heinous crimes, you will see these types of nonsensical crimes drop sharply in occurrences.

  4. JSDHF says:

THEY SHOULD LOCK HIM UP FOR WITHHOLDING INFORMATION. TO BREAK THE VIOLENT CYCLE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO START TO TALK. THE HAVE TO GIVE THE NAMES OF THESE TERRORIST TO THE POLICE AND TO THE RADIO AND TELEVISION. POINT THEM OUT. YOU MUST REALIZE THAT IS NOT BE SNITCHING. THEY WILL BE COMING BACK FOR YOU AGAIN. SO YOU BETTER START TALKING OR GO AND PAY FOR YOUR FUNERAL OR THE FUNERAL OF SOME OF YOUR LOVE ONES.
