Which day will your child’s school reopen?

Earlier today the Ministry of Education provided a schedule for the re-opening of schools and from the look of things; there are some students that will be away from the classrooms for the rest of the week, that’s in cases where schools double up as hurricane shelters. On Wednesday the following schools will reopen: San Pedro & Caye Caulker Schools, Pancotto Methodist-Sandhill, Biscayne Govt. Our lady of Guadalupe-Sandhill, All schools in Burrell Boom and the River Valley, Unity Presbyterian, Central Christian, All Saints, Hattieville SDA, Pilgrim Fellowship-Hattieville, Anglican Cathedral College, Belize Rural High School, Canaan SDA, Edward P. Yorke, King’s College, Ladyville Tech, All Schools in the Old Northern Highway, Belize Elementary School, Bernice Yorke, Hummingbird, Stella Maris and all UB campuses. In the south students from the following schools are to report to classes: Holy Ghost, Sacred Heart, Epworth Methodist, Zion SDA, Gulisi Community, Ecumenical College & Junior College, Delille Academy, Kids First and all schools South of Dangriga. If you didn’t hear your school tonight, that’s because it will either open on Thursday, Friday or next Monday. We’ll list those schools in Wednesday’s newscast.
