Man charged with Suppression of Evidence

A twenty year old man has been charged with Suppression of Evidence, not a charge we hear of often. Police arrested and charged Michael ‘Quacky’ Foreman of Louise Bevans Street in Belize City for attempting to get a sixteen year old minor to drop a charge of Aggravated Assault. The young man, along with his mother, reported to police that on July twenty-second while he was on the basketball court located on Jane Usher Boulevard, he was offered money to drop the case. In January of this year, Foreman was charged for assaulting the minor and his friend with a gun on Curl Thompson Street. Foreman allegedly threatened the minor on July twenty-third saying that nobody stays in jail for long.
