Man busted for gun and ammunition while taking dog for a walk

Jamar gentle

Jamar Gentle’s day started with an early morning walk with his dog and ended with him being sent to prison for two years.  Police busted the twenty-five year old with a point thirty-eight revolver and five live rounds. Gentle was walking his dog on Princess Margaret Drive at about six-forty a.m. when he was spotted by police on mobile patrol. He was stopped and searched and the cops found the loaded gun in his pants pocket. Gentle was charged with Keeping Firearm and Ammunition in the court of Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer. He claimed he had just found the weapon and intended to sell it, but still pleaded guilty to the charge. Magistrate Frazer imposed the minimum sentence of two years each for the ammunition and the gun; both are to run concurrently.

Don’t they ALL “find” their guns while walking their dog, or cat, or whatever? Fine upstanding citizen of the community just walking his dog and got arrested for nothing, I mean, just LOOK at him, you can tell by his looks that the gun wasn’t his!!! He would NEVER have a gun, never!! Someone must have planted that gun in his pocket!! This MUST be a set up, probly from the Sri Lankan guys!!

Put this fool in jail, no one believes that story dude so what are you an arms dealer without a license that would be a worse charge that just possession, good job police department keep stopping and searching them you will be surprised what you will find especially those ones running around in those hoodies it’s a way of concealing their identities and when you search them if they have a large amount of cash on them and does not have a job you can assume that they are into something illegal so keep an eye on them.

  6. MADDYVANDIJK/DEREALIST says:

This fool was no doubt going to commit an early morning shooting which would have ended with death of a so-call innocent man. Luckily the police stopped and searched his #$$, then busted him directly. Two years is not nearly enough for these people, the police should have arrested him then played Russian roulette with this fool.

  7. Earl Grey says:

HE is a good candidate for the PRISON FARM.

HE CAN LEARN TO EARN HIS KEEP and provide for the rest of society.

WE NEED A PRISON FARM down in TOLEDO, Kolbe is too close to Belize City.

why bother sentencing him for two counts/charges when they are going to run concurrently? Obviously these magistrates have vested interests in letting these cowards backout on the streets early. Threats or bribes I wonder! He should have gotten 5-10 years for each offence – No Parole!
