Viewers agree on investigation into human trafficking scandal

The leaders in the recently exposed human smuggling ring are highly connected persons and there officially seems to be more concern about leaks than about getting to the bottom of the scandal.  News Five has been following the paper trail and in our special report on the immigration scandal, we have revealed the details that would otherwise be swept under the rug. On Tuesday night we asked the viewers if they believe the government is being transparent and accountable in its probe. As it turns out, there is not much faith in the ministry’s investigation since ninety percent of voters on our e-poll said no and only ten percent said yes. One viewer said: “Just another cover-up in Paradise. How can the suspect investigate himself?”
