Delivery man held up at gunpoint, son beaten up
And in another part of the city a delivery man was not so lucky. Just before noon Tuesday, forty-three year old Cirilo Ical was robbed at gunpoint while making a delivery of sugar on Mahogany Street. Ical was apparently being trailed by robbers who jacked him as he parked his delivery truck in front of Ying Ying Shop. According to Ical, while he was inside the container of his truck counting the remaining bags of sugar, he was approached by two male persons; one of them armed with a small handgun. The gunman demanded money from Ical, while the other man began beating Ical’s son who was in the passenger seat. Ical caved in and told the gunman that the money bag was in a compartment in the truck cab. The robbers retrieved the parcel, but before fleeing the scene of the crime, also helped themselves to Ical’s wallet.
