Armed Robbery of Arun Hotchandani’s Boutique

It hasn’t made it to the police blotter today, but a major home invasion has been reported in San Pedro. An undisclosed quantity of money along with an assortment of items was reportedly stolen at Wings on Coconut Drive in San Pedro Town on Wednesday night.  It is believed that sometime after nine o’clock two men entered the residential area of Wings, which is located close to the San Pedro airstrip. The bandits proceeded to rob the family of three and got away with what is believed to be thousands of dollars. The business, which is the property of Arun Hotchandani, was also robbed of a number of items.  One of the victims was injured by the thieves and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment. It is not known how the robbers gained access to the building, but at least one person is said to be under question.
