PG man commits suicide

In a crime of a different nature, a Punta Gorda man took his own life over the weekend after he was literally caught with his pants down. The man, Pablo Ack, a laborer from the village of San Miguel, died after he consumed a quantity of the herbicide called gramaxzone. Ack lived long enough to tell the police his version of why he had taken the herbicide. From his hospital bed in Punta Gorda, Ack claimed that last Saturday night, he was at home having drinks with his cousin Josiah Cucul and fell asleep in a drunken stupor in the hall of his house. This is where the story gets odd. Ack claimed he was awaken by his wife, Dolores Ack, at about ten o’clock later on Saturday night, who caught him with his pants down and with Cucul on top of him. Ack told the police that he was upset by what his wife told him and decided to drink the deadly weed killer. He died on Tuesday morning at the Punta Gorda Hospital.
