Three injured in West Landivar Accident
Three people are receiving treatment at the K.H.M.H. at this hour after a traffic mishap on Princess Margaret Drive. Twenty-one year old Vivian Martinez told News Five that shortly before five this evening she was driving a red Geo Prizm on Princess Margaret Drive from the direction of Newtown Barracks towards Freetown Road. Martinez said that as she reached the intersection at Saint John’s College entrance, she lost control of the vehicle, and it spun out of control, jumped the divider, and slammed into a blue and white Mitsubishi Montero which was travelling behind her. The impact caused the Montero to flip onto its side causing significant damage to the vehicles and leaving its driver, fifty-six year old Patrick Polack and his passenger, forty-two year old Daniel Bautista with head injuries. The Prizm sustained damages to the front, while Martinez complained of pain to her left arm, neck, and right leg. It took about an hour before traffic at the scene was free to flow again.
