Belizeans show better understanding their human rights
On the occasion of Human Rights Day 2010, the Human Rights Commission of Belize says that it notes that there is now better understanding of the issue among Belizeans. The Commission says that more people are protecting their rights and the rights of others who are too vulnerable to speak out. The Human Rights Commission encourages the Government of Belize and all those in positions of authority and leadership to adhere to the fundamental rights and freedoms in the Belize Constitution. It further encourages the government to abide by the UN international norms and standards in relation to human rights.
EVERY Belizean NEEDS TO HAVE A COPY OF THE CONSTITUTION.
