Two mothers attacked by sons in Corozal
Two mothers in the Corozal District have filed assault reports against their sons. According to thirty-eight year old Irma Castillo, she was at her home in Halls Layout around seven-forty Friday night when her son Francisco Vasquez tried to stab her. About an hour later in the Village of Libertad, Carmen Carter alleges that her son, Ever Carter, kicked her in the chest for no reason. Police have since detained the twenty-five year old Ever pending charges of Common Assault, but are still looking for Vasquez.
