Castro responds to allegations of intimidation
So what about the allegations by the residents who said they didn’t want to appear on camera because they felt intimidated? We asked Castro to respond to those concerns.
Marion Ali
“I couldn’t get many of the people to talk to me on camera. I asked why and they say they feel intimidated because you or your supporters threaten them.”
Edmund Castro, Area Rep., Belize Rural North
“But they are my supporters so that question is not correct. They are my supporters. I noh goh bout build tilapia pond for people who are not in the area. All those people if they didn’t support me, I wouldn’t have won by the massive margin that I won. So when you ready I can take you to all those fish pond and they will talk to you.”
Marion Ali
“Same ones who have concerns?”
Edmund Castro
“Those same ones will speak to you. My people they are there cued. They will not go and speak top anybody on camera. The first thing they will think is that they will set me up.”
Castro Don’t be an idiot most of those people probably did support you before the election that is the reason you got elected but since that time they have really found out who you are and how arrogant and selfish you are let’s wait for next election and see who will be supporting you. Oh I forgot even your own party have found out what kind of person you are so you will not be nominated for that ticket next election.
Listen to this man talk, what an uneducated person he is and scary to look at. I have heard so many people complain about him and his arrogant behaviour, yet he is still part of the GOB . He and his family acts as if though they run Belize. I hope we will see change in the next election – more educated candicates.
CLEAR THE LAND…………..GOT CLEARED FROM THE LAND……..he should just go.
BelConcern. Why is he scary to look at? As far I can tell, he’s just a black guy with dreads. What’s so scary about that? Let’s not judge appearances and stick to talking about people’s decisions.
