Man over board; tourist gone missing off cruise ship

The body of a cruise ship visitor to Belize has still not been found. According to Margarita Sandini Tello, while aboard Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas in Belizean waters, her son went missing. She reported the incident on January fifth that her son twenty-one year old Jose Miguel Pietri Tello, a Puerto Rican student had not been seen since eight the morning. Jose is of fair complexion, slim built, has black hair, is six feet one inch in height and weighs about one hundred and sixty pounds.  Investigations have since revealed that Tello was last spotted on board at three-thirty-seven in the morning of January fifth.  The ships video footage has shown that at three-thirty-eight a.m. the twenty-one year old man jumped off the deck of the ship and plunged into the water. A search was conducted by the Coast Guard and the Belize Port Authority. That search has been called off and Tello’s body is still missing at sea.
