More violence on streets; teen shoots teen

Clement Bol Jr.

The second weekend shooting also took place in the Old Capital, a stone’s throw away from the previous incident almost twelve hours earlier.  Nineteen year old Clement Bol Junior, a construction worker and student of Gwen Lizarraga High School’s Evening Division, was shot on Saturday evening while walking along West Canal in the direction of Berkeley Street.  Bol reported to police that he was approached by another teenager he identified as Akeem Humes, who fired a total of four shots at him.  Bol was hit once in the left leg and was taken to the emergency room at the K.H.M.H.  Investigators later recovered three of the four expended point forty-five shells from the scene of the shooting.

Both the victim and the shooter are no strangers to the law.  On September eighth, 2010 Clement Bol was charged for the armed robbery of Christopher Pitts on Pike’s Crescent in Belize City.  During that incident Bol made off with an assortment of gold jewelry, cash and a cell phone.  His assailant, eighteen year old Humes, later that same month was charged with murder following the shooting death of Jason Flores on December ninth, 2009.  Humes is currently being sought by Belize police in connection with the incident.  Clement Bol has since been treated and released from the K.H.M.H.

A third person was also shot in Belize City on Sunday.  CIB personnel visited the K.H.M.H. yesterday where they saw Kareem Flowers with an apparent gunshot wound to the left hand. Flowers reported to police that he was walking on Dean Street when he was accosted from behind by a dark complexion man who opened fired on him.  Flowers has a number of robberies pending trial in court.

Maybe Mr. Flowers was on his way to church that Sunday & the same dark complected man that shot Mr. Marcia shot him & of course he has no idea who did it. The police has been looking or Humes while he hides in plain sight. Expect more dead bodies & blind witnesses.

The PRISON FARM is not a bad IDEA……………………………..

HEALTHY YOUNG MEN CAN BE VERY PRODUCTIVE ON A PRISON FARM….at no cost to tax-payers.

  3. MADDYVANDDIJK/DEREALIST says:

So young, so ignorant, so dead……………….soon.

We cannot keep sending them to jail; we must reserve space in prison for the worst of them them all.

These two young men are already at the bottom of the food chain, they made their choice.

How should we get rid of them, permanently?
