Five Sisters Lodge employee embezzles $30,000

A former accountant from Five Sisters Lodge is in serious trouble with the law after he allegedly embezzled over thirty thousand dollars from them. According to Carlos Popper, who owns the lodge, the theft occurred between February twenty-fifth, 2010 and January sixteenth of this year. Police have identified the accused as Antonio Madrid, who allegedly altered the company’s payroll before sending it to the bank. Thirty one thousand, one hundred dollars were stolen in the process.  According to a company representative, Madrid did not show up for work since a few days before the discovery was made.
